What is oral cancer and where does it occur?

Oral or mouth cancer refers to cancer that develops in any part of the mouth. It can
occur in the tongue, gums, lips, inner lining of cheeks, roof of the mouth, and floor of the mouth. Mouth cancer forms when cells in the mouth or on the lips develop mutations in their DNA.
