CAVITIES

How do I know if I have a cavity?

Do you see a small hole in the grooves of your tooth?

If you do, it’s likely that a cavity (or hole) has formed. This happens when the bacteria within a slimy plaque environment break down food left in your mouth, create acid and form a hole. Most of the time these holes don’t cause pain or sensitivity, but we recommend seeing your dentist soon to have the condition treated before it worsens.
