Dr. Matt Johnson
Husband. Dachshund Lover. Dentist.
Dr. Matthew Johnson was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry.
After graduation, he spent a year traveling Southeast Asia teaching English as a second language, returning in 2011 to begin a career in dentistry. In 2015, Dr. Johnson received his Doctoral of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Johnson is a Captain in the South Carolina National Guard where he serves as a General Dentist providing dental care to troops in the United States Army.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association and Durham Chamber of Commerce. He and enjoys cooking, traveling, aviation and spending time with his wife and two dachshunds Peanut and Olive.
